A short, honest explanation

There are no tips on this website.

No "banker of the day", no locks, no 92% strike rates. Just an odd little fact about the betting industry, and a service built on it.

Here is the fact: bookmakers disagree with each other. Constantly. One firm prices Rublev at 1.67 while another has his opponent at 2.75 — and for a few minutes, the two prices overlap in a way that shouldn't exist. Back both sides in the right amounts and you collect a small profit whoever wins. The trade is called an arbitrage, and it's been quietly worked by professionals for as long as odds have been published.

It isn't a loophole and it isn't gambling in any meaningful sense. It's the same reason currency desks exist: when two markets quote different prices for the same thing, the gap is money. The catch has always been finding the gaps before they close — which is a job for software, not for a person with fifteen browser tabs open.

Our scanner watches 20-odd bookmakers licensed in the UK and Ireland, around the clock. In the week of 1–7 September it found 52 of these guaranteed-profit gaps and 207 value bets besides — real numbers from the log, not marketing ones, and we publish them weekly. When it finds one, subscribers get a Telegram message with the bookmakers, the odds, and the exact stakes. You place two bets. That's the whole product.

What an alert looks like on your phone

A replay of real alerts from our log — this is the actual format that lands in the Telegram channel.

Two honest caveats, because you should hear them from us. First, the gaps close quickly — sometimes within minutes — so this suits people who can act when their phone buzzes. Second, bookmakers may eventually limit accounts that only ever bet on gaps; our alerts use rounded, natural-looking stakes to slow that down (see the FAQ below), but it is a fact of the trade. We've written honestly about both in our guides.

The betting industry runs on the hope that you'll trust your gut. This service runs on the certainty that you shouldn't have to.

Every question, answered honestly

What is arbitrage betting?
Arbitrage (or "arbing") means backing all outcomes of an event across different bookmakers so you guarantee a profit regardless of the result. It's maths, not gambling. When Bookie A has Man City at 2.40 and Bookie B has Arsenal at 3.50, the combined odds create a gap where you win no matter what. Full plain-English guide here.
Is this legal?
Yes, 100%. You're simply placing bets at different bookmakers. It's not illegal in the UK. Bookmakers don't love it and may limit accounts over time, but that's their prerogative — there's nothing unlawful about it. The full legal picture.
Does SureBetUK work in Ireland?
Yes. Nearly every bookmaker we scan is licensed in Ireland too — BoyleSports, Paddy Power, bet365, Betfair Exchange, William Hill and the rest of our 20+ books. Only a couple are UK-only, which is why around 9 in 10 of our alerts are fully available to Irish members. Every alert is tagged 🇬🇧🇮🇪 or "UK only" so you know at a glance, and the maths works identically whether you stake in £ or €.
How much can I make?
Each alert typically shows 1-3% guaranteed profit. With a £100 stake that's £1-3 per bet. Heavy weekends with football, tennis and MMA running can produce 10-20+ alerts. Your profits scale with your stakes and how many alerts you act on — we've published the real numbers from our own scanner.
Do I need to be quick?
The quicker the better. Odds can move fast, so when you get an alert, act within a few minutes. We filter out stale odds and only alert when the opportunity is fresh.
Which bookmaker accounts do I need?
The more the better. We cover 20+ bookmakers including bet365, Paddy Power, SkyBet, William Hill, Coral, Ladbrokes, Betway, Betfair Exchange and more. You don't need all of them — even 5-6 accounts will catch plenty of arbs. See which bookmakers actually appear in our arbs, ranked by real data.
What are back/lay arbs?
A back/lay arb is where you back a selection at a bookmaker and lay the same selection on a betting exchange like Betfair. The exchange lets you act as the bookmaker — so you're covering both sides of the same outcome. When the bookmaker's back odds are higher than the exchange's lay odds (after commission), a guaranteed profit exists. These alerts show you both stakes and the exact liability on the exchange side. Full guide.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel in one click from your Stripe account. No lock-in, no questions asked. Your access continues until the end of your billing period.
Can alerts be wrong?
Rarely, but yes. Our bot scans live odds from 20+ sources and occasionally an opportunity can close before you place both bets, or odds may shift in the seconds between the alert and your action. We do everything we can to filter out stale odds and phantom arbs, but no system is perfect. Always check both odds are still available before placing.
How do I get support or suggest improvements?
Just drop a message in the Telegram channel chat. A moderator is online every day between 20:00 and 22:00 to answer questions, collate feedback, and help with any issues. Outside those hours your message will still be seen and responded to at the next session.
Why are the stakes rounded to whole numbers?
Bookmakers have multiple ways to identify arb players and one of the biggest red flags is placing bets with oddly specific amounts like £47.62. We round stakes to natural-looking whole numbers to keep you under the radar and help your accounts last longer. The exact mathematical stakes are always shown at the bottom of each alert if you prefer to use those.
How does the referral programme work?
For every friend you refer who signs up and pays, you receive 50% of your monthly subscription back as a refund. Refer two paying friends and your entire month is free. To claim, you must let us know the email address of the person you're referring before they register. Message us via Telegram with their email so we can link the referral to your account. Refunds are processed after the new subscriber's first payment clears. Got an audience? See the Partner Program — 50% recurring cash commission.
What are value bets and how are they different from arbs?
Arbitrage bets guarantee a profit because you back every outcome — you win no matter what happens. Value bets are different: you only bet on one outcome, so there's no guarantee on any single bet. However, when a bookmaker's odds are significantly higher than the true probability (we only alert at 4%+ edge), the maths says you'll profit over time by consistently taking these bets. Think of it like the house edge at a casino, but in your favour. We include these as a free bonus on top of the guaranteed arb alerts.
How is SureBetUK different from matched betting?
Matched betting is built around bookmaker promotions — sign-up free bets, reload offers and money-back specials. You unlock the bonus value, but the offers run out fast and bookmakers usually "gub" (restrict) your account within weeks once the promos are used up. SureBetUK is different: we find genuine pricing inefficiencies that exist with or without any promotion. Our arbitrage alerts back every outcome for a guaranteed profit, and our value bet alerts flag when a bookmaker's price beats the true sharp line — an edge that profits over time. In short: matched betting milks the offers until you're limited, whereas SureBetUK is an ongoing, sustainable edge that doesn't rely on bonuses. Betting exchanges (Betfair, Smarkets, Matchbook) never limit you, which is why they sit at the heart of our arbs. Full comparison.
